How to get here.

International carriers that fly into Belize City include American Airlines, Continental Airlines, TACA, U.S. Airways and Delta. Most travelers coming to Belize arrive at Philip Goldson International Airport located nine miles outside Belize City. Once in Belize City guests will need transportation down the coast to Dangriga. Both of the Belizean community airlines (Maya Island Air and Tropic Air) have a variety of daily flights which is only 20 minutes from Belize City to Dangriga (costing $54 per person one-way or $108 per person round trip). If you prefer to travel by ground you'll drive 75 to 100 miles depending on your route for approx. 2-1/2 hours. Rental cars or a bus are options as well. Once you arrive in Dangriga, you're a short 15 miles from the resort or a 40 minute drive. Parrot Cove Lodge can make arrangements to pick you up in Dangriga once you arrive. Ground transport from Dangriga to Parrot Cove Lodge costs $25 per person one way.
